Blowing again
Blowing northeast again today (Thursday). Supposed to layout on Friday then come hard north on Saturday. We can't seem to catch and break on the weekends.
We've had a couple more red drum caught on the surf this week. Two under slot (less than 20 inches) reds reported on 3R's Tuesday. Ryan Stetser sent us pics of a 45 inch red he caught on the Fenwick surf Tuesday morning.
No fresh bait available at all. Terrible year for fresh bunker and we havent seen any fresh mullet since the northeast storm two plus weeks ago.
Tog bite in the Inlet is good. Still no live green crabs available. Again that storm weeks ago has severely impacted the supply. We have live sand fleas.
A few blue around on the daytime incoming tides.
Shorty stripers reported at night on live eels and floating fleas.
Water temp has come back up to 67 degrees. 55 is the magic number to really get the striper bite/migration started.
